About NiCad
NiCad is a multi-national experimental rock band that began in 2004 when five young foreigners met each other at The Hague’s Royal Conservatory in Holland. The group quickly found their own unique style by integrating their musical backgrounds formed from growing up in Japan, Israel, Chile, the United States, and Germany.
NiCad’s Music:
With live performances using self-built electronic instruments in a power rock setting, fronted by charismatic singer Kyle Timon Dukes, NiCad brings a dynamic on stage that keeps listeners captivated and on the edge of their seat. Music From NL writes, “We hear the raw sound of the Pixies, but also the dynamics of Radiohead, Bob Dylan’s protest and the happy note of a young international Dutch band,” and from the music magazine Het Oor, “NiCad remains a Quintet of highly elevated quality, which is never predictable, but succeeds to sound possessed as well as catchy.”
